Who we are

SignedHours is operated by SomexAI Applications Group, LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

What SignedHours is, and is not

SignedHours records the fieldwork hours you enter, evaluates them against the requirements published by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, and helps you obtain your supervisor’s signature.

We are not the BACB and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to them. We do not certify anyone, we cannot approve your hours, and nothing here is legal, professional or certification advice.

Your record remains your responsibility. We encode the BACB’s published rules carefully and show our working, but requirements change, our reading could be wrong, and only the BACB decides what counts. Check your numbers against the current handbook, and keep your own copies.

Your account

• You need a working email address, and you are responsible for what happens through it. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you.
• Give accurate information. Verification forms carry your name and your supervisor’s, and inaccuracy in them is a serious matter with your certifying body.
• One account per person. Do not share it.
• You must be 18 or over.

Signatures

When a supervisor types their name and confirms, that is an electronic signature made with intent to sign, and we record the time, the IP address and a fingerprint of exactly what was signed.

Once signed, a month is locked and cannot be edited. That is deliberate: a signature over records that could still be changed afterwards would be worth nothing. Corrections after signature must be handled as a new attestation.

Signing is a professional act. Do not sign as someone else, and do not attest to hours you did not supervise.

Client information

Do not enter identifying information about your clients. There is no field for it, and the free-text fields are not the place. Clients should be recorded as codes only you can interpret. You are responsible for your obligations to your clients and your employer.

Payment

• Paid plans are billed annually in advance at the price shown when you subscribe.
• We will give at least 30 days notice by email before any price change affecting you.
• You can cancel at any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.
• If SignedHours does not work for you, write to us — we would rather refund you than argue.
• If your subscription lapses, we do not delete or withhold your record. You keep read-only access and full export, free. Only new logging stops.

Acceptable use

Do not use SignedHours to falsify records, to impersonate anyone, to break into it or disrupt it for others, or to do anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts doing these things.

Availability, and the honest disclaimer

We work to keep the service running and accurate, but it is provided as is, without warranties. We cannot promise it will always be available or always correct.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost certification time, rejected hours, or other indirect losses. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

We say this plainly because the stakes are real: keep your own copies of your verification forms. Export regularly. Do not let any single system, including this one, be the only place your fieldwork exists.

Ending

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may end an account for breach of these terms, and if we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice and time to export.
